ENGINE 1
Engine 1 is a 2005 Freightliner FL-70 with a Pierce body. Engine 1 has a 1500 GPM Hale pump and carries 1250 gallons of water and has a 50 gallon Class A foam cell. Engine 1 carries ALS gear, HazMat gear, and vehicle extrication gear on top of the standard engine company gear. Engine 1 is the busiest unit in Harrisonville.
Engine 2
Engine 2 is a 2013 Pierce Saber 4X4 pumper. Engine 2 has a 1500 GPM pump and a 750 gallon water tank. Engine 2 carries both wildland and structural equipment.
Engine 3
Engine 3 is a 1990 Pierce Arrow that underwent an extensive refurbishment that started in April 2012 and finished in early 2013. Engine 3 now sports a 1500 gpm top mount Waterous pump, a 1000 gallon water tank and a 20 gallon class A foam cell. All lights were converted to LEDs and the roof mounted lightbar was equipped with Opticom. Engine 3 carries 1000' of 5" supply line, 500' of 2" attack line, 100' of 1 1/2" attack line, and 200' of 1" in the crosslays. Engine 3 is also equipped with a TFT deck gun, an array of ladders, Q siren, and all of the basic engine company gear.
Tanker 1
Tanker 1 is a 1990 Pierce Arrow Dry-Side Tanker with a 1000 GPM Waterous pump and a 4250 gallon water tank with 250 gallons of Class A foam. Tanker 1 has a 750 GPM deck gun for water and a 350 GPM deck gun for foam. Tanker 1 also has a 1500 Watt light tower, a 75' aluminum ladder, a Fold-a-Tank, and 3 dump valves. Tanker 1 responds 1st out to fires in areas with little or no hydrants and 3rd out to fires is hydranted areas.
Tanker 2
Tanker 2 is a 1998 E-One Cyclone pumper tanker. Tanker 2 carries 750 gallons of water, 3000 gallons of foam, and 1250 pounds of dry chemical, all of which can be pumped through the 2250 GPM Hale pump or the 2000 GPM deck gun. Tanker 2 responds mainly to industrial fires but can respond to structure fires.
BRUSH 1
Brush 1 is a 2008 Ford F-450 with a custom skid unit built by Unruh Fire. Brush 1 has a 300 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water. Brush 1 carries BLS gear (BLS Jump bag, and an AED), and some minor rescue gear. Brush 1 obviously responds to brush fires but also can respond to incidents where an extra pump and hose are needed.
Brush 2
Brush 2 is a 2012 Ford F-550 with a custom body built by Unruh Fire. Brush 2 carries 450 gallons of water and 50 gallons of foam which can be applied through either the 2 100' reels of attack line, 500' of 2" hose or through the deck gun, all of which through a 400 gallon per minute PTO pump. Brush 2 is BLS certified and responds to brush fires along with structure fires and MVAs.
Brush 3
Brush 3 is a 1980 Jeep CJ7 with bodywork done by the department. The Jeep was donated by a local store owner and all of the equipment on board was donated by local emergency service suppliers and bushiness. Brush 3 has a 200 gpm pump and a 350 gallon water tank. Equipment carried includes a 350' reel of 3/4" hose, 450' of 1" forestry hose, 2 5 gallon class A foam containers, a jumpbag, a shovel and a Pulaski (what the pickaxe represents). Warning devices consist of 2 Whelen 2519 beacons, 2 Whelen 400 Series LEDs on the grille, 2 Whelen 600 Series scenelights rear wig-wags in the brake lights, and a Whelen 295SDA Series siren.
Brush 3 responds mainly to small fires on the beach and the surrounding parks but can respond to any brush fire within Harrisonville.

Special Operations 1
Special Operations 1 or Spec Ops 1 is a 2012 Ferrara Igniter combination rescue. Spec Ops 1 carries a wide variety of tools and equipment that can be used on just about every incident. Features command cab and light tower.
Special Operations 2
Special Operations 2 or Spec Ops 2 is a 2012 Freightliner Sprinter SWB that was outfitted by a local company for our needs. Spec Ops 2 is used as a dive/water rescue unit but carries confined space rescue gear. Spec Ops 2 tows Raft 1 to all calls.
SPECIAL OPERATIONS TRAILER
Our Special Operations Trailer (SOT 1) is used by our department to haul our Technical Rescue and Haz-Mat gear. SOT 1 is a 2010 20' Haulmark Passport trailer outfitted by our members and by Odyssey. SOT 1 carries the "bulkier" items such as shoring, cribbing, large power tools as well as some smaller "high tech" equipment . SOT 1 has a total of 10 Whelen 900 series scene lights on the sides and a 15' Will-Burt Nightscan light tower to illuminate the scene. SOT also has a Zodiac raft on the roof.
MASS CASUALTY INCIDENT RESPONSE TRAILER
Our MCI trailer is a 20' 2012 Wells Cargo trailer outfitted by Disaster Response Solutions. This unit carries all of our MCI equipment and medical equipment for our USAR team.
Raft 1
Raft 1 is a 2012 Zodiac raft with a trailer built by one of our volunteer firefighters. Raft 1 responds to water rescue calls and acts as a rescue unit during flooding.
Beach patrol 1 and 2
Beach Patrol 1 and 2 are used by our lifeguards. (From left to right) BP 1 is a 2010 Ford F250 equipped with a front push bar, surf board, Whelen Freedom lightbar, and a full compliment of ALS medical gear. BP 2 is a 2010 Ford F150 equipped with a Warn winch, a Whelen mini Freedom, and a full compliment of BLS gear.

Car 1
Car 1 is a 2013 Ford Expedition. Car 1 is used by the Chief of the Department to respond to incidents and take control of the scene. Car 1 has a custom command package courtesy of Odyssey. Car 1 has a front push bar, Whelen Freedom lightbar, Whelen 2519 in green (command strobe) and a Whelen Dominator 8 traffic advisor.
Car 2
Car 2 is a 2010 Ford Escape with a custom command package by Odyssey. Car 1 is used by the Shift Commander to respond to incidents. Car 2 can also be used as a Rapid Response Vehicle to respond to Medical Assists or as a transporter to transport extra manpower to the scene.
Car 3
Car 3 or Fire Marshal 112 is a 2008 Ford F-250 XL used by our Special Operations Commander who also acts as our Safety Officer. Car 3 responds to all rescue calls and to all calls where a special ops unit is dispatched. Car 3 has a push bar, a Whelen Liberty lightbar and a Kobalt bed box.
CAR 4
Car 4 is a 2008 Ford F-250 XL used as a general staff vehicle. Car 4 has a front push bar and a Whelen Liberty on the roof. Car 4 carries an ALS jump bag, traffic control devices, and a 2 1/2 Gallon water fire extinguisher.
